With the 2018 Ryder Cup about to kick off in Le Golf National, Paris France we have the Fourball Pairings for you.

In any Ryder Cup it is important to get off to a strong start and it looks like the captain's Furyk (Team USA) and Bjorn (Team Europe) have put their strongest pairings forward for the first Fourball matches.

The way fourball works:

In four-balls, each member of a two-man team plays his own ball, so four balls are in play on every hole. Each team counts the lowest of its two scores on each hole, and the team whose player has the lowest score wins the hole. If the low scores are tied, the hole is halved.

  1. Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau (US) vs Justin Rose and Jon Rahm (Europe).
  2. Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler (US) vs Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen (Eur)
  3. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas (US) vs Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton (Eur)
  4. Patrick Reed and Tiger Woods (US) vs Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood (Eur)
