Junior Development

Open to boys and girls (aged 5 to 13 years old) and organised to coincide with every term of the school year, these regular weekly clinics are designed to provide children with the opportunity to have fun, improve their game and technique, build friendships and introduce them to golf.

Spring Valley Golf Club is MyGolf Centre (Australia’s nationwide junior golf program) and we currently offer regular Saturday and Sunday MyGolf Clinics.

Junior Golf Pathway AT Spring Valley Golf Club

Spring Valley Golf Club’s junior development pathway is structured to support juniors playing golf at Spring Valley Golf Club. The Club is a strong supporter for the growth of juniors and increased participation of juniors in the club.

The junior development program is supported by the club’s Junior Development Fund (funding opens in March and September every year) and sponsors in this program enables us to:-

  • Fully fund an Advanced Junior Clinic to 6 selected junior members of the Club. The advanced junior clinic is a full program to encourage juniors as their next step in golf and progress their golf skills to on course play, playing in tournaments and improving their golf etiquette and skills. (The clinics will be held twice a year)
  • Sponsor established junior members of Spring Valley Golf Club in our ACE program, which is a two tiered support program for junior members, meeting set criteria as a stepping platform towards Golf Victoria’s Junior Development Squad/Pathway.
  • Encourage and support junior golf initiatives at Spring Valley Golf Club
