The 2018 Junior Masters was held on April 5th and 6th at the Ballarat Golf Club open to Juniors Australia wide with over $3000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

The main event is a 36 Hole Championship Stroke with the winner receiving a once in a life time fully paid behind the ropes experience at the Australian Open (Boy) or Women’s Australian Open (Girl) including flights and accomodation. Valued at $1200.

70 Juniors from all over Victoria took part in the event chasing the fantastic prizes on offer.

The winner of the boys event was Peter Vassiliadis from Commonwealth GC who shot a pair of 71's for a total of 142 to beat Max Green from Commonwealth GC by 2 shots.

The Girls event went down to playoff with both Piper Stubbs from Huntingdale GC and Amy Leeson from Buninyong both finishing on 150. One playoff hole was played with Piper Stubbs dropping a 1.5m putt to take out the title.
