After a hot start and with his win the previous week it looked like Dustin Johnson was still in a winning mood but as the weekend came around Brooks Koepka started to take over the US Open championship.
Johnson opened with a 69 and 67 but stumbled on the Saturday with a 77. In the end he was only 2 shots off the winner Koepka.
Tommy Fleetwood made a charge on Sunday with final round 63 but he fell one shot back.
It was Koepka who was able to hold his nerve and in the end had a two shot lead going into the last. He made a bogey but claim his second US Open winning it back to back.
"I don't think I could have dreamed of this, going back-to-back," Koepka said after his round. “Man, it feels good to hold this thing again,”
